Global Mission

We seek to share the love of Christ not just locally, but around the world!
Stop Hunger Now
Currently experiencing a few problems with registration. SHN is working on it. Some people are able to sign up, others are not. I hope to update you when sign-ups are running more smoothly.
In Matthew 25 Jesus speaks about the importance of Christian service, demonstrating the love of Christ in practical ways. One way of doing this is by feeding the hungry.
This year we will be packing over 61,000 meals for starving people groups around the world. We are doing this in partnership with several other churches and Harvester Christian Academy. This years event will take place on Saturday, March 11th. There are three shifts.
9am – 10:30am
11am – 12:30am
1pm – 2:30pm
Port au Prince, Haiti
We have developed a relationship with Haiti Outreach Ministries (HOM) who are based in Port Au Prince, Haiti
We are supporting them financially and also working in partnership with them via mission trips to build homes, carry out medical missions trips and help with teaching kids who attend their school through educational and VBS opportunities, as directed by HOM. We have two trips scheduled for 2017:
Medical Trip: March 11 – 18, 2017
This is a 5 day medical clinic. The trip is primarily for medically qualified people including: MD, DO, DMD, DDS, PA, NP, RN, PT, but there are a few positions for non-medically qualified people. Questions? Contact Melissa Cordle:
Construction Trip: June 4 – 10, 2017
This is a 5 day construction trip. Details of exactly what we’ll be doing are still being confirmed, but it is probable we’ll be building a home for someone in the community in need and also potentially working on a sports facility (e.g. soccer field) connected with one of the HOM sites. Bogota, Columbia
We also support the work of the Central Presbytery in Bogota, Columbia as they minister to the needs of the poor through after school programs, ministry, evangelism, and building projects.
International Justice Mission
We support IJM. IJM is a global Christian organization that protects the poor from violence in the developing world. The team includes hundreds of lawyers, investigators, social workers, community activists and other professionals at work in nearly 20 countries. Much of what they do seeks to set captives free from modern day slavery. It is currently the world’s largest anti-slavery organization.
We provide financial and prayer support to a team of national & international co-workers:
Richard and Mary serve in Delhi, India. Richard trains local Indian pastors to proclaim the good news of Jesus in their local languages and locations. Mary is starting a school in a predominantly Muslim slum outside Delhi. (Their last name is withheld as full disclosure can adversely affect their mission there on occasion.)
Petrit & Meredith Leishi serve in Albania with Campus Crusade for Christ. They organize outreach events and facilitate church mission trips. They believe that due to the unique situation that exists in Albania, Muslim Albanians are particularly open to the message of the gospel.
Jay and Ann serve in a predominantly Muslim nation in Asia, where they share the good news of Jesus Christ with their neighbors. They also consult with Jesus movements around the world. (Their last name and exact location are withheld because of the sensitivity of their mission there.)
Louis and Wendy Sanchez are based in Carmel, IN and affiliated with Destino, a branch of CRU, formerly Campus Crusade for Christ which reaches out to the Hispanic-Latino community on University Campuses around the country.
