We all need to schedule time to rest and allow space to be renewed… it doesn’t just happen for most of us in the course of our daily lives! You are invited to take some time out to connect with God and with other women, as we set aside time to be together this March!

During the weekend we will create space for rest, quiet, conversation, prayer, and reflection on Scripture. We’ll also have fun exploring the grounds of the center, playing games, doing puzzles and relaxing together. There will be plenty of free time!

During our four Gatherings, we will be led by Sarah Dickinson and Emily Sexton, and we’ll explore the topic of God’s invitation to transforming friendship. What does it mean when Jesus calls his disciples his friends? What does it look like to walk in friendship with God in the midst of our everyday lives? We are looking forward to reading God’s word, reflecting on our own experiences, and praying about taking steps into deeper friendship with God together.

For your planning: Plan to arrive at Shocco Springs around 6:00 p.m. (Alabama time!) on Friday, and we will be leaving to head back for an arrival time at home around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday (Douglasville time). It takes about an hour and a half to get from Douglasville to Shocco Springs. The cost includes all meals (Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast) and accommodations in hotel-style rooms (most with one full size, and one bunk bed). The cost for those willing to share a room is $170. If you would like a single room, the cost will be $230. Please register by February 25th.
