When you decide to come to a new church where you don’t know anyone, it can be exciting, but maybe a bit daunting. At First Presbyterian Church, we want to take the guesswork out of your first visit. Whether you’re looking for a fresh start, a place to grow in your faith, or a community that truly feels like home, we are so ready to welcome you with open arms.
We aren't just a building; we are a family. From the moment you pull into the parking lot, we want you to feel the warmth of a community that loves big and follows Jesus with heart. No matter where you are on your journey, you belong here.
We would love the chance to prepare for your arrival to make your morning as smooth as possible. By letting us know you’re coming, we can help you with the "little things" that make a big difference:
A Friendly Face: We’ll have someone waiting to greet you at the door, show you around, and introduce you to a few new friends.
Family Ease: If you have little ones, we can help you find our nursery or children’s areas so you can feel confident they are in great hands while you enjoy the service.
Answers to Your Questions: From where the restrooms are to how you can get involved in our Vine classes, we’re here to help.

First Presbyterian Church currently meets for in-person worship every weekend and offers different service types and times to choose from on our main campus:
Online Worship is available via our website, YouTube and Facebook.
On the first Sundays of the month, we combine the 10:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. services into one service and alternate monthly between contemporary and traditional styles.
When the first Sunday of the month falls on Easter, we meet in our typical three-service format.
For the other Sundays...
Traditional Worship: Sundays at 8:15 a.m. & 10:45 a.m. (Main Sanctuary)
-This service is best accessed via the front parking lot, closest to Campbellton St.
Contemporary Worship: Sundays at 11:00 a.m. (Jeffords Center)
-This service is best accessed via the back parking lot. Drive around to the rear campus.

Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade attend Power Hour from 10:45 until worship concludes. Power Hour is a specifically designed worship space and time focused on nurturing kids' knowledge, understanding, and faith in God's Love for them through Jesus Christ - all through an engaging, fun, and interactive atmosphere!
Our Nursery is available for all services and Vine classes.

In total, an FPC Church service lasts about 60 minutes for both Traditional and Contemporary services.
Traditional services include singing hymns, prayer, and choir specials led by piano, organ, and other instruments. Scripture will be read and you will hear an encouraging and life-giving message from the pastor. The service concludes with a benediction and a blessing.
The Contemporary services begin with the band leading the church in music; song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. There may also be an artistic/creative video or two that give insight to our faith, hope, love, life, and the gospel. After the music and video portions of service are complete, one of our pastors will share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus Christ. The service concludes with a benediction and a blessing.
