The congregation and staff of First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville are proud supporters of Embrace Grace, a ministry that provides hope, encouragement, and practical support to single women experiencing unexpected pregnancies.

Embrace Grace is a 13-week program where participants are surrounded by the unconditional love of Christ through meaningful relationships, weekly encouragement, and practical assistance, culminating in a baby shower to help meet the needs of both mother and baby. Most importantly, these women are reminded that they are deeply loved by God and are encouraged to see themselves through His eyes—as valued, cherished, and worthy.

The impact of this ministry is best expressed by the women themselves:

• "I came in feeling down and left feeling whole."
• "I've never felt so welcomed and loved."
• "One of the most amazing experiences I've ever had."

While Embrace Grace is a tremendous blessing to its participants, it is also a blessing to those who serve. It is a joy and privilege to walk alongside these women as they gain confidence, find healing from past experiences, and grow in their relationship with the Lord.

This August, we are excited to begin our eighth year of Embrace Grace. Since the ministry began at First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville, 59 women have participated, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share God's love with each one.

Embrace Grace is truly a church-wide ministry, and every act of service makes a difference. Whether providing gifts for the baby shower, preparing breakfast for a class, helping wrap gifts, holding signs of encouragement on shower day, praying for the participants, or serving behind the scenes, each volunteer helps create an environment where these women experience the love of Christ in tangible ways.

We are thankful for everyone who has supported Embrace Grace over the past eight years. Your generosity, prayers, and willingness to serve have helped make this ministry a place where women can find hope, encouragement, and the love of Christ during a season of uncertainty.
